Stairs - Unable to extend stair supports (Revit 2019.2)

Having trouble extending stair supports. I would like the stairs supports to extend and look like what is highlighted in green in my picture. I have tried everything. This extension was very easy in Revit 2017. Did Revit 2019 loose this feature?

Is that the Top Rail? I don't remember precisely when that was introduced. Maybe that's the difference.

@Anonymous : I think I may have misunderstood. When you say "Supports", are you referring to Handrail Supports?

Ah! I see what you are talking about. The stringer properties!  Sorry, I didn't see the "green" initially in your screenshot.

I don't think it's possible to configure the Stringers to make that begin and end shape automatically.  I don't remember it ever being possible.  You can get there through in-place modeling though.

Maybe @ToanDN knows how.

Only true Stairs by Sketch can do that. Component stairs, even converted to Sketch, can't.

...and Stair by Sketch went away in 2018.  There's the big difference.   But, can you get that Stringer cut-off with Stair by Sketch?  Kind of a two-plumb cut.

DUH. I'm brain-dead today

Thanks.

What about in 2019?  I can't get there (the OP's stringer design that is).  What am I missing?
