Stairs railing not setting right.

Hello, I am struggling with making the railing set perfectly on the slope of the stairs. I have two parts to the stairs: the stairs, and the landing. So when I make the railing it becomes all flat with the level of landing. 

I have tried, to set it to slope, and located it in different level, but nothing has work. Your help in this matter, will be greatly appreciate.

you need to break the railing path sketch line at the landing. 

...Actually, after looking more closely at your pictures, may I suggest that you edit the rail sketch at the landing and add another line to it for the stair part. Is that understandable? 

...Also, it looks like it could be a hosting issue. Highlight the railing at the landing, click on Pick New Host and then select the stairs.
