STAIRS PROBLEM

hello,

I am trying to create single step, but it is showing like in img below, it is extending beyond the tread,
I tried to change the connection method, the presentation is not correct

what abt the other 2 steps, one is 300 and the other is 350

This was actually a booger for me.  I'm embarrassed.  Convert to Sketch was the way to go.  All downhill from there.

HA! That's exactly what I was fighting. The built-in component stair intelligence.  Convert to Sketch and be done with it.

but in real situation we do have a riser with nosing no a slab edge

I get it. End with Tread or fasten non-slip nosing to landing as a separate component or use no landing nosing.

how can I do end with tread, u mean I just model it as a component not as a stair component

With your single step? You can't. You wouldn't to want to either.  You're fine without a nosing. What do you have there anyways? A door threshold? Well, there's your "nosing".

check below screen shot for explanation. The notch length should be considered in the total tread depth. if you want it to show as you desire. only change the tread depth to 200mm.

Can you set Connection Method to Straight Cut and resolve the "jut" seen in Section?  I couldn't.

I think OP didn't have any problem with the 2-step stair.  1-step that is.
