Stair Up/Down Arrow Path Issue

So I decided to model my stair finishes separately, meaning I did not use the built in Tread and Riser functionality within the stair system family. What I did instead was to model walls as risers and floors as treads for the stair finishes. It was all good until I used the auto up/down stair path annotation. As shown in the pic below, the arrow can be seen but the stair path is somewhat obstructed by the separately modeled treads and risers. Is there anyway to maybe set the base offset of the annotation so that it wont be covered by the modeled geometry? Any thoughts? Thank you.

Use your own Detail Component Arrow.

Since you have already started with not using treads and risers, you might as well not use the built in UP/Down. This is not an issue many do that the same way you are doing it but next you will be either changing the view range settings of the upper floor to see those treads or will you add a plan region.

I would suggest use the subcomponents of the stairs to your advantage rather than adding unnecessary work to your workflow unless of course you have a very specific reason not to use the built in components

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I ended up making my own “up/down” annotation and it’s working perfectly fine. Stairs can be tricky sometimes but there are always work arounds.
