Technically there is nothing that says you cannot. After corona this has become a more popular approach and with Collaborate pro it has been made quite easy. Nowadays there are lots of service providers who has made a big business out of it.
Where to find such jobs...I would say you should search for firms that hire Hybrid and Remote the first place. In the past here on Autodesk Forum there used to be a Marketplace section for free lancer but was shut down in 2022 but I believe now replaced by another program which supposedly help others finding you (see link) ... If not mistaken, you would need to register with them and demonstrate certain software awareness, skills/competence before you are admitted and I am not sure if being an Autodesk Certified Professional contributes to words the assessment of becoming a partner. Having it open like Marketplace seems to have brought them lots of headaches and complaints
