hi
did you know if it is possible to extend the stringer of a prefab stair, other than with the 3 basic options? I did not succeed in reproducing the Extension of the stringer at the bottom of the Staircase. I have already tried to shift the profile of the steps, but it causes other issue at the landing.

The one pointed by the red arrow in picture. I want the same extension with a offset.
The actual extension is aligned to the stair nosing.
I don't think that can be done. You'll have to model something on the end separately, or model the stringer as a separate element.
Another example for how Revit is sometimes poorly made for standard's details and fine tuning.
let's see what other member can come up with.
Yeah... it's a workaround. But that mean a lot of masses in the project just to cut every stairs.
I hope for more flexibility.

Then modify the tread profile to be set back from the front nosing ref plane.
You can model the stringer as a railing with the profile in the Rail Structure (non-continuous). At least in that case you can control the sketch. It comes with its own issues, but could be a workaround until Autodesk decides to add some flexibility to the stringers.
The problem is with Revit. The program did at one time have the ability to modify the stringer extensions. I think the last version that had this feature was 2018.. Possibly 2019.
