Stair Railing Issues

To those who are more  experienced to this than I am I thought I would put the question out there as I have no idea what the fix to this problem is.

any time i am going to create this handrail on a curve I cannot for the life of me get it to work whether I'm doing it as a sweep, handrail, you name it and I've tried with the experience I have so just wanted to put out there if anyone knows the solution to this I would be extremely grateful.

Thanks

This issue you are having is that you are changing 2 orientations at 1 location (turning left and angling up) which is not possible with that shape as it has only 1 axis of symmetry.

In this situation you need to start at the flat portion make a left turn that extends flat a minimum of the width of the handrail (may be able to be less) and then angle up to meet with the sloped portion.

Thanks for the prompt reply Mike, I'm still not 100% how I would go about doing this..is there a way of you showing?

Whoops, wrong post.

Edited: You just need to adjust the path of your railing so that you have a flat segment to between the angled portion and the turn.

Hi @jordan-stewart24 It would make the attempts of other to help you much easier if you post the stair & rail rather than forum visitors trying to recreate the issue then providing a solution
