Stair Landing in VG

Why doesn't VG allow us to control stair landing appearance? I'm trying to hide the <above> landing without hiding all of the above outlines!!

Can you get there using the Linework Tool?

Actually no, I tried the linework but it did not work

Not using Component Stairs? Using Stairs by Sketch?  Right?  I can see how Linework Tool wouldn't work in that case.  It would work if you were using Component Stairs though.

How about a Plan Region? Maybe that would work here?

Thank you I didn't know that before, but still, my stairs has an irregular
shape that I need to do it by sketch
