Stair is appearing over a Room fill

My floor plans have a color fill scheme associated with rooms- as you can see in the attached image, the stair below the primary bath is showing up over top of the color fill. Can anyone troubleshoot this? Thanks

is color scheme in background or foreground?

Actually, the linework you see for stairs in plan view is symbolic linework - not model linework.  Hide in View by Element, Category or Filter.

Hi,

Have you checked the Color Scheme Location? Can you set it to Foreground?

I thought you wanted to hide the stairs completely.  That's why I edited and added the remarks under my question "is color scheme in background or foreground?"

No, I just wanted to prevent those bottom treads from showing thru the color fill- honestly changing from background to foreground isn't even an optimal solution because then I have to use room separation lines everywhere to clean up the color fills. If there's another solution that would be helpful, otherwise the foreground is the best I can do

Set Stairs category to 100% transparent.
