Sorting objects to Worksets via Dynamo 1.2.1

Hi again,

I am attempting to create a macro to move Revit objects to the correct workset via Dynamo. I have run into a stumbling block where I am trying to sort internal and external walls to a CORE Workset and a SHELL Workset. Obviously sorting by Category will not work. Is it possible? If so, how?

Use Family Types instead of Category, assuming your Exterior walls and interior partitions are of different Wall types.

Thank you, Toan. So I would take it that this would work on an already created model, not for a generic situation? n that case I will leave the Walls worksets out of my script and add them on an as-needed basis. Thank you again!

See if you can filter by Wall Type Function (Exterior vs Interior). I haven't touched Dynamo for quite a long time so I forget almost everything. Try this topic:
