CPU & Graphics Card Recommendation for Revit 2016

I am the IT support person for a small autodesk Revit 2016 shop. My client is currently working on a model that is attached to 10 other models with a size of about 3 MB each ( total load could be 30 MB ).

A PC with the following specs takes about 15 minutes to render the above models:

    CPU Intel Xeon E3-1240 v5 HT CPU @ 3.50GHz/3.9GHZ ( 4 cores )

    Memory 32 GIGs

    NVIDIA Quadro K1200 4 Port  4 GB

I need to purchase another PC and I want to decrease that rendering time by as much as possible. Of course cost is always an issue but performance is important as well. Which would be better for rendering time, more cores or faster procs? Which of the two below would be better:

    1) Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2630 v4 (10C, 2.2GHz, 3.1GHz Turbo, 2133MHz, 25MB

        Memory 32 GB

        NVIDIA Quadro K1200 4 Port  4 GB

    2) Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-1660 v4 (8C, 3.2GHz, 3.8GHz Turbo, 2400MHz, 20MB

        Memory 32 GB

        NVIDIA Quadro K1200 4 Port  4 GB

Also, do you know of any tool to measure performance when Revit 2016 is loading so I can determine where the land time issue maybe? I know I can use Task Manager but I was hoping there was something a little more specific to AutoDesk/Revit 2016.

Thanks for your help.

I would suggest you forget upgrading hardware for Rendering and use the cloud rendering services, faster, cheaper and better.

Hope this helps
