Sometimes I see the split-mark and sometimes I don't?

So I've used the spliting tool a few times and sometimes I can see where I split it with a line and sometimes I don't, I can not seem to find the right settings (?)

In the attached picture I've simply copied the left one but the new one doesn't show the split-marks even tho the wall is still splited? Any ideas?

When you do not see them it means they have Clean joined...

If you want to see them, Go to the Ribbon >> Modify Tab >> Geometry Panel

1. select Wall Joins tool 
2. Hover over and click a join
3. On the contextual bar above, change the Display from "Use View Settings" to "Do not Clean Join"

Tho it would be awesome to have it preset? So if I copy it's already there..
