I have created a schedule with a room identity parameter

However some of my items under this parameter are not showing

Why is this

It is so frustrating

To further clarify

I can not show some of my furniture on the schedule

Why is this the case? When everything else shows...

Regards

Aidan

Hi correct me if any of this is wrong. You created a new project parameter called "Room Identity" and then added this to the Rooms category. You then filled in the Room Identity for one/some rooms directly in the instance properties palette. You then created a (or opened an existing) room schedule and then added the Room Identity parameter as a field. Howeve the values previously added do not show in the column. Correct?

Is the room schedule sorted/grouped by any parameters? If so, do you have itemize every instance checked or not?

There could be a couple of reasons why the furniture would not be visible in the schedule. Firstly, have you added a filter to the schedule?  Are you sorting/grouping by a parameter, if so, is the itemize every instance checked or not? Is the furniture within a linked file? Is the furniture part of a design option? Is the furniture on a different phase?

Okay so another quick clarification as I wasn't so clear on the specifics...

So this is a furniture schedule (not room, nor multi-cat) and you have included room parameters to it.

Okay just to rule out that there is something odd going on with this schedule, have you tried creating a brand new furniture schedule showing all furniture in the project, no sorting, no, filters just to see if the same furniture is still missing? You absolutely sure these are furniture objects and not casework or specialty equipment?

How can I check that my furniture is furniture and not specialist equiptment etc.?

when you move the mouse over the element it will give a tooltip as to what category it belongs to.

If you do find out that these items belong to another category you might want to create a multi-category schedule which can also read the rooms these are located as well as their parameters.

Sorry, by result i don't see the schedule. Just to make sure that the furniture is actually "seeing" the relevant room, is the furniture on the same level as the room and with zero offset? Is there a chance that another room is overlapping this room?

The result of the schedule is literally nothing...

Here is the room boundary:

I check this on my desks also and i dunno what it is...

Maybe that is causing it..

Is this an OOTB desk? Hard to say without reviewing the furniture family.  However, if that is what I think it is, then yes, that could change the room to which the furniture belongs. Can you upload that desk? Are you working in Imperial. Try changing the z_Height_Control to a smaller number like 4 Feet.

looking at the desk is it not clear that it has any issues with regards to the rooms. those parameters have no effect and can in fact be deleted. i would suggest also running a purge in that family anyway as it has a bunch of nested families that are not actually being used. But that is beside the point. i cannot at this point see what is up. Maybe if you could upload the project or part of it. then i could troubleshoot.

Select a desk and look at the properties. Does it say Furniture or something else?

I have the solution to the problem, big thanks to Joey_JM for the help

There is a room on the floor below that has a limit offset of 400cm as so it is overlapping the room T1019. This means the furniture thinks it belongs to the room below..

I changed this to 250cm and it now shows the room information.
