Some Objects switch to Wireframe when Cast Shadow in turned on

Hi community,

When I turn on Cast Shadow, some objects in my perspective section box switch to Wireframe (see attached). Normally, I'm using Hidden Line as a model display so these objects shouldn't be transparent like this. What can I do to properly cast shadows in the hidden line model display?

Turn off CAD links or CAD imports.

It did not change anything, unfortunately.

Regenerating the view may solve the issue, I will try but I would prefer a solution that doesn't require deleting the view as I have an already set orientation in this one.

I get that, but fact is that sometimes 3D Views get corrupted.   You can create a View Template from the "bad" View to apply to the new View. This will carry over a chunk of settings.  But unfortunately, not all.  It's a b*tch; I know.
