I'm trying to create a floor plan to show finishes, and some of my furniture is only showing in black and white line style.  For instance, I have (2) different tables from Haworth - both have the same table-top finish.  One type shows in color and the other doesn't.  I've reviewed the families and can't find a setting that is different for these.  Is there a trick to getting all furniture to show up with their finish?  It must be in the family, but I reviewed settings for visibility (no difference) - for materials (both have the same).  I can't figure it out.  Any advice is greatly appreciated.  I also had issues with bringing in a Revit family from a furniture company, and the item showed up in 3D views, but not in plan view at all.  I couldn't figure this one out, either.  Maybe it's a related setting?  I doubt it's anything to do with my graphics card as I have a great one - but maybe a setting with it?

What you are seeing in the view is SYMBOLIC LINEWORK - not Model Geometry. Likely the Model Geometry is either not visible in Plan/RCP or covered up by a Masking Region in Plan/RCP. Open the Family, Go to Plan View, and check out what's visible and not visible via the Element's Visibility Settings.

This screenshot shows the Visibility Settings for the OOTB Desk Top. Note that it is not Visible in Plan View.

Here's what it look like in the Project Plan View in Realistic:

Hi and thank you for your response.  I had checked the visibility settings and they were checked off for Plan - however, I finally discovered that the table top was its' own family - so I went into that family and sure enough, the plan view was not checked off.  Thank you so much for helping me out.  I was baffled for a bit there.
