This is a user forum, though. To distanced themselves from user drama in general and non-subscribers queries, they launched the Expert Elite program several years ago. This program recruited some users, awarded them badges to appear as legitimate Autodesk experts, and essentially left them to manage user interactions on these forums. A few of the EE were good but most forum participants, including Expert Elites, are not deeply knowledgeable about software performance, background processes, or system maintenance beyond what they can find through Google or ask AI tools like ChatGPT. Therefore, on discussions similar to this one, one should not expect much in terms of official support.
Previously, the main value some Expert Elites provided was escalating certain forum issues to the Autodesk support team. It's unclear if this practice continues, but after a three-year hiatus from the forum, I notice only a few of them are still around. Additionally, a new "Up Vote" button has been introduced, suggesting that Autodesk might intervene if a discussion garners enough upvotes.
If I were in your position, I would focus on opening support tickets and persist until the product works as expected. Autodesk has a substantial and capable support team, but you need to reach them through the appropriate channels. This forum is not the most effective avenue for that. One can always hope, but frankly speaking, onhow many discussion topics have you noticed an intervention from an Autodesk Subject matter experts or dev team?
