Hi, I am new in Revit. I am trying to solve this roof detail and I'm having trouble placing the sloped layers.
I have my main wood and steel beams layed out, then the smaller beams running in the other direction with variable heights for the slope, and now I want to place the thermal and water insulation layers as can be seen on the AutoCad detail.
I want the sloped roof to arrive exactly at the angle that the smaller beams create, so I was wondering if there is a way to construct a roof on a custom referance plane, or how can I achieve this precisely?
If I make a sloped roof I can play around with the angles but I can't get it to match properly...
Thank youCan't match sloped roof angle to angle created by increasing-height wood beams
