Wish list - more readable measure tool

This is a tiny yet important thing that's been bugging me for the past 12 years of using Revit - Nine times out of ten when you use the measure tool the resulting number on the screen is impossible to read.  The numbers are too small and almost always obscured by the drawing.  A opaque text background and slightly larger text size would turn this tool from being only just usable to great, and I imagine would take a developer about 5 minutes to do.

I really hope that Autodesk addresses this and so many other small usability and quality of life issues that I would have expected to be ironed out by now (happy to list these in another thread, or add your own below!).  So many tools are at 80%-90%, nearly really good, just need a bit more polish to make them really functional.

Have you tried playing with this setting? It appears to do exactly what you are asking for and has been available for a long time.

Here's the image which I forgot to attach.
