SKP file disappearing when scaled up

Got a issue importing a SKP file, Has imported correctly and is showing both in 3d and 2d floor plans but is scaled incorrectly and when scaled up it disappears. How do i scale it without it disappearing ?

How are you scaling it?

Have scaled multiple ways but it almost seams that as soon as it gets bigger that the box it imports in it disappears

Multiple ways?  What ways? I can only think of two ways, right off hand.

Have scaled through Modify scale tool and through type property changing the import scale

What Scale Factor are you entering?

it says scaled 1:1mm when imported but is actually 1:1000 and when changed to be correct units and scale factor it dissaspaires out of the import scope box
