Sketchup import not correctly cutting in 3D view

Hi all,

I've got an issue where my imported sketchup model only cuts with a section box from two sides, as shown in the attached image. This is proving difficult to produce sections as it shows the imported elements in front of the section. I have tried creating a generic family model and cutting it through the section box, but it has not worked. Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

From my memory, it hasn't always been like this so i'm not sure what the issue is!

Have you tried to export Sketchup to CAD and then insert the CAD into Generic Model Family? See if that helps you with 3d section box?

Insert the Sketchup model into a Generic Model family (see @syman2000 post)

or insert/link it into a model in-place with category: generic model or in a In-place mass.

That makes the import cuttable.

allow me to put you a silly question. Is it a Section Box or a Scope Box? They look pretty much the same in a 3d View.....
