Sketching stairs that overlaps with its self

I am trying to sketch stairs that wraps around wall, it is all good until the stairs needs to continue in areas where lower steps already exist (overlap).

I tried making the stairs using normal "run and landing" method, but for some reason I get another error of some kind.

Pictures are attached.

You can't do it with sketched stairs.  You should be able to do it with component based stairs.  You can look at his video to see how to accomplish a 3 run (stair that over laps itself) stair.

Thank you for this, so we established that sketch cannot be used for a switchback stairs.
However, it seems that I also have another problem that you can see in the video attached, it seems that Revit does now allow a short distance to exist between the meeting point of the two flights.

I tried drawing a custom landing instead of automatic landing. but the issue presists.

I am assuming you are trying to get a square landing like this:

I had no trouble getting this by selecting the landing and using the shape handles to adjust it to be square like this. it essentially has 0 distance between the 2 runs. In your video you were adjusting the run length. I would adjust the landing edge position and let the run adjust to it.

I apologize for the misunderstanding, but I do NOT want a square landing, I want an "almost square" landing if that makes sense, in the end of this video, you would see exactly the landing that I want highlighted in error orange. the landing extends into the first flight only slightly (a few centimeters). but Revit does not allow me to have such short extra distance.

Same thing. Adjust using shape handles on the landing.

again, i do NOT want a square landing. I attached another video of me using the shape handles (the blue arrows if i'm correct).

I do not understand, I think it's better If I give up now 😅

Way too many variables that may be causing the problem. Without knowing all of the geometric conditions, it is impossible to to know why it is failing for you. A "very small" landing extension like that IS possible, but in the EXACT condition you have, maybe not.
