Sketch up 3d modell import to Revit

Dear Autodesk Community,

I have this environmental modell drawn in Sketch Up (1). The task was to import this to Revit but at this point the trouble starts.

It doesn't matter in which way the thing is being imported I always end up having this "plane"(2) appearing with my 3d modell and 

there is no way I can delete it because when I select it the whole thing gets selected.

Is this solvable?
