I uncheck traffic light under site, however I still have one traffic light shown and two lights from another traffic light family shown. How to fix this?

Select the families, look at properties and see which category they actually belong to, may not be what you think.

The one partially being turned off is in site category, the one is not turned off at all is in special equipment category, I change it to site, but doesn't help.  Where to change them to " traffic light" sub-category?

Edit the family and change elements to the subcategory you want.  Or share the family here.

part of the family has subcategory, but part doesn't.

Try to edit the family, realize it has nested family.  Using manage/object style to create subcategory, haven't fixed it yet.  will try again tomorrow.

Another question - this traffic light is 18ft high, much higher than the view range, why is the whole light visible?  I actually only want to show traffic light post. Is there way to make the traffic light being displayed within the view range?

It is a nested generic model family. Edit it, change the category of the family to Site, and change all elements in the family to Traffic Lights subcategory (add the subcategory if it does not exist).
