Sink elevation raising to adjust floor deck thinkness

Hello.

I have a bit of problem in my project. I loaded a sink family into my project, where I had to raise the elevation of the sink over 200 mm to adjust the sink footing on the floor deck (floor thickness is 235 mm). But the sink has the base offset constraint set to 0, and I cant raise its elevation. Is there any way that I can raise the sink footing elevation? P.S I attached the elevation section sketch.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards

Ankhaa

What is possible depends on how the sink family is modeled and how it was placed inside the project.

Possibly you would need to choose a different point of insertion (e.g different level, a workplane).

Alternatively you might consider edit the family so that it behaves as desired.

Best would be to upload the family so we can have a look how it was modeled.

The sink family is face based. So normally you will place it on a wall.

If the wall is vertical you should be able to adjust the elevation

If I place it on a (vertical) wall then I have no problem to adjust the elevation

Thank you so much. It solved my problem. I was trying to change its constraint, which I failed. Now I changed its elevation according to  your advice, it worked perfectly.

Thank you so much.

Best regards
