Hi- In my office we make regular use of the on board 3D views in Revit. When we first started using the program 5 years ago, I got used to using silhouettes to improve the look of the 3D views. More recently, in all of our latest projects, I have not been able to get silhouettes to work in the 3D views, and I can't figure out why. In these problematic files, the silhouettes DO work fine in elevation views. At this point I have tired everything I can think of, including copying over View Templates from projects where I know the silhouettes are working. I have even gone as far as copying and overwriting ALL of the project standards from a project where the silhouettes are working, hoping that some setting is overriding the silhouettes, and still no change. I can turn on silhouettes with the widest possible lines and toggle back and forth between 'thin lines' and 'true line weight view' and literally none of the lines in the 3D view change, I'm just getting thin lines everywhere. There must be some stupid setting somewhere causing this, but it goes beyond my knowledge of the software. This has really compromised the look of our 3D output and its infuriating at this point. If anyone can think of anything that could be causing this, we would be incredibly appreciative.
Thanks
