Show Nested Detail Item (Filled Region) in Plan and RCP view

I have a Generic Model Line Based Family consisting of a 3D element (LxWxH) AND a NESTED DETAIL ITEM Family (a filled Region) My question´:

Is there a way to show the nested Filled Region in BOTH Plan view AND RCP...In plan view it works fine BUT I can not get it to show in RCP.

Fill Regions are View Specific.

ok, the nested filled Region was placed in the RCP view of the Generic Model Family...if it is view specific shouldn't it show in the RCP view when loaded into the model?

Instead it is always shows in the plan view regardless where it is placed in the Family (RCP or Plan)

In principle the nested filled region should show on any view parallel to that of the one onto which you have placed the nested detail item...ie: in the host Generic Model Line based  you do not need to place one in plan and one in RCP. Just one suffice to have it show in both views.

However; it will only show if that family and the cut plane of the plan/rcp intersect or if the family falls between the cut plane and the primary range bottom.

thank you this solved the issue for most maybe 90% of the families I wanted to show but there are a few which are mounted on the ceiling and still showing only on RCP and I gave up on trying so maybe I do the leftovers manually

For such families add an invisible line in the family and parametrize it to extend and intersect the cut plane when required...ie: it will be treated as cut even when it is not within range
