Show ceiling height in room tag

Hi fellas!

How can I show the ceiling height in floor plans room tag?
As easy as possible.

I am not a Revit expert but;

I don't think it is possible to add it, so it automatically displays ceiling height. But if you no problem doing manually then you might consider the following option:

Edit tag--> add New Label--> Select any empty parameter you wont use for information-->add it & save.

OR Create a New Shared Parameter -->edit Tag--->New Lable-->Create new Parameter-->select new shared paramete,add & save.

If you have horizontal Ceilings or Slabs then you can use a Calculated Parameter to Label: Volume/Area

Volume computation to be set to Room and Area> Areas and Volumes.

Add a label for Unbounded Height.

Is Room Bounded by Ceiling?  Are you Calculating Rooms by Areas and Volumes?  Well then, easy enough. Add a Calculated Length Parameter named Ceiling Height to the Tag with the Formula =Room Volume/Area.

Hello 

your assumption is one constant height for a Room, but in reality ther are bulkheads, dropdown ceiling, 

and ceiling varying heights depending on Ceiling design.

So I would suggest create a new Tag for Room, or Floor, and use custom text using some category like

Ceiling Finish ( within Room ), comments, description etc.

Easier method if you are modelling the Ceiling, then use underlay and use the spot elevation to mark the height.

( you can even overlap two views on the SHEETs, one plan, another ceiling plan.. )

I tried this. Doesn't work. Where did I go wrong? How could I possibly know... It would be nice if commenters would show all the steps leading to the solution. It's not rocket science to assume that if someone is here asking for help, they probably need the full road map. I doubt "Just add a label...." has been helpful to anyone.

Sorry the post responds to @Marcus.Isacsson and he was familiar enough with the program so it was unnecessary to show the steps he already knew.

1. If you want to control Room Height using Upper Limit Offset:

2. If you want to use Volume / Area formula then follow @barthbradley post above.  This formula works best if your floor/ceiling is flat and Room computations set to Area and Volume.

Use the method found on REVIT PURE - How To Show Ceiling Height In A Room Tag — REVIT PURE.  I have found this to be the best.  We also use room styles to define finishes, so we also incorporated a ceiling finish into our tag.
