Hi,

We've got a problem where a plan which has been placed on a sheet with a title.  The title is then referenced back to another sheet which contains a section, not a plan.  We want it to reference back to the plan it was copied from.  How do we resolve this?

Thanks.

Can you please post some screen shots or the file so we can observe the behavior?  A placed reference view will always reference the first view in the order that the tag appears in.  For example, if you have the parts to a floor plan that have dependent views, parts A, B and C, and you tag a detail in part B, the new view that is created will still reference part A, because even though the view is cropped, the tag is still on in the view.  Hide the tag in view A to have your new view reference View B.

Hi, ? Thanks for your reply.? Please find attached two PDFs showing the random view tag.? The floor plan sheet?is showing a reference to the section sheet.? Ideally it should either be referencing the floor plan it was duplicated from or nothing at all. ? Kind regards, ? Mel Schmidt
