Shared Parameters .txt file

Hi

I created a shared parameters on a family and want to use that family in my revit model. I ve seen lots of tutorials that import the shared parameters by linking a .txt file into the main revit model

I want to import the txt file to include those shared parameters in my file but dont know how to create the .txt file or what does the .txt file needs to have.

Thanks!!

When you bring a shared parameter to the family, did you noted the shared
parameter file you got it from? You need to use the same file when bring
the same parameter in the project.

Hello- I have the same question.  However, I don't have a shared parameters txt file to start from.  No idea where to begin here.. can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

I created a list of Shared Parameters as a .txt in revit families. Is there a way to apply the list of these parameters to Nested Families and Project Files without adding the parameters 1 at a time?

Not with Revit OOTB....CTC ExpressTools has an add-in called Parameter Jammer....it allows you to add multiple parameters and replace parameters too (in case you are switching Shared Parameter files)
