Share parameter issues

1. I want to create shared parameter with other shared sub-parameters underneath  such that when it appears on the schedule that way. That is for example you create a shared parameter for dimensions and under it you have length, width and Depth.

2. How can you also create an object in revit and not place in a grid level and place it on the side of a wall etc.

1) Unfortunately, there is no way to create "sub" parameters.  From what you describe, I believe your best bet is going to be to use Groups in your schedule to organize the parameters you create.

2) Depending on the category of element, you have the ability to create a wall-hosted element, or you can create a face based element and then when you place it, select the option for "Place on Face" and you can place it on any surface
