Shaft opening from main model does not cut floor in design option?

Hello,

  I have shaft opening in main model and it does not cut hole in floor placed in design option. See attached picture, please. This is how it should work? When I try to join some walls from main model to that floor in design option, everything works fine. So I expected, that shaft opening will behave in the same way...

Yes this is how it is designed to work. The shaft opening needs to be in the same option as the floor in order for it to cut the floor.
