Setting toposolid base height better

Set Topo solid base height to the level assigned to it.

For example: I have a level, site, set at 0 internal origin. and also survey base point. Topourfaces worked great and the elevations were easy as with the topo pinned to elevation 0

I used to bring in a survey at  the site level of 0. Project base point was ground floor.

This allowed flex of where to best place the floor heights for cut/ fill.

If the surveyed contours were at say, 10.00 the toposurface contour was at 10 but the survey was pinned to 0.

Now toposolids seem to pin to the lowest imported data height. for example, a survey brought in had the lowest data point above level as 47800 and as such the solid was positioned to that height on site level. The lowest points modified were also 47800. This seems wrong. Shouldn't the import have a base level matching the CAD file level?

Hi @rnorrish

Thanks a lot for posting your question to the forums!   As @barthbradley suggests, it would be great if you could share the project or .dwg file so the community could investigate further.

We look forward to hearing back from you with more information so we can help you as a community!
