Selecting design option to make Primary - issue

I have design options created in a model and currently one is selected as primary.  I'm attempting to switch from option 4 to option 2.  Once I select #2 to make it primary the computer pauses for a second then acts like nothing was clicked.  This file has been used and worked properly in the past.  We had the same issue yesterday with a different file doing the same thing on a different computer.  Thank you in advance. - Jerad

AKN says: "When you want to promote a secondary option to be the primary option, be aware that Revit attempts to move relationships from the former primary option to the new primary option."

Note emphasis on the word: "attempts".  Sounds like Revit made the effort and failed.  Not going to be an easy troubleshoot, especially since there is no associated warnings or errors. But maybe this will give you a clue on where to look.

file with design options and it worked, so it has to be the file. Thanks
