Sections - linked model in front

So I had the requirement of my linked architectural model and the structural model linked in to my master model. I wanted to display my plans with the structure (concrete columns and walls) to mask the architectural walls so that they are 'in front' in draw order terms. I then don't get the architectural wall lines showing through the structure. I only managed to do this by having the host model set at 1250mm above FFL and my linked in architectural model set with view range as 'by linked view' which was set as 1200mm.

So this works as required, even though it is such a workaround. But I am used to workarounds in Revit.

My problem now, is that I need to do the same with my Sections. See attached screenshot. I really want the slab for example to blank out the architectural wall (are shown yellow).

Has anyone got a clue if this is possible ???

Yes - you would think that is the obvious solution.....doesn't work at all though Smiley Sad

You could try creating two views, with VG settings as required, and placing them on top of each other on the sheet to achieve the graphic representation you are after.

In true Revit style, this is a classic workaround. It works well thanks so much.

I had to make sure the structural had a clipped view so it didn't mask out the architectural behind.
