Section visiblity

Hello,
I'm a beginner user.

In the attached picture of a section of Lift pit.

The members in dark grey are cut . The members in light grey are projected.

Can anybody tell me why the projected members come on the foreground and cuts through the cut member ? in the locations where I marked in red.
Is there a way to prevent that.

Regards

The section marker line is the "cut line."  Where you place it on a plan view will dictate what Revit will see and cut thru.  If you move your section marker, the section will change automatically to show you what it sees and what it cuts.

you can also go to a 3d view, right-click the viewcube and orient it to the section view you made to get better context as to what is going on.

Thank you for your reply.

I figured out that the problem was that my model display was "wireframe" , when I changed it to "Hidden Line" and "Realistic" it was ok.

But I faced a second problem when I changed to Hidden line, the ground profile topo surface acted like a member and it covered the other members behind as in the picture attached which shows topo surface covering wall foundation. is there a way I can make the toposurface transparent, or make some members wireframe and others Hidden Line.
