Section View callouts not aligning to view

I had a parent section view split into dependent sectors. When I moved/set the left and right extents, the callouts did not move to align with them. In the image below, the view is a floor plan that will be sectioned out using dependent views later on. I have one of several overlapping callouts highlighted (left), and the extends for it can be seen as the arrows (right). Since the callouts run so long, they all will show on the dependent views for the floor plan and overlap each other. Each floor has a set of 24 sections at a minimum, and the sections dip above and below the levels making the views for level 2 show in levels 1 and 3, and those levels sections show on level 2.

I made a new view with the same template, but the callouts still showed in the same spot (not aligned).

Using copy (CRTL+C) in the new view produces a callout that is also not aligned to its extent.

I am running Revit 2019 for this job and cannot use anything newer than that also.

Section line and section view extent are independent so you would need to stretch the line after changing the view extent.  Here is another way:

Place an over all section and create dependent section views from it matching floor plan dependent view.  Then you the section line should show matching the view in each floor plan, or you can tailor each one without affecting the others.

Old response:

Either (1) hide the overlapping section lines manually, or (2) hide all of them and place a section referencing other view in each dependent view.

With (2), you can copy paste from one view to other views no problems (and you can change referencing view independently for any of them).

That is what I was afraid of. I have an overall floor plan and an overall section view. Both have had dependents made for them then the section crop regions are set to match the corresponding dependent floor plan crop. however, since the sections were made by duplicating the overall, all tags show/overlap in each floor plan view (within the view range). I tried the first method of adjusting each section line. After doing that 25+ times for a single view. I had hoped I was missing the easy button. I don't quite understand what the second method is that you mention though, could you expand on that, please?

Start a section, don't drawing anything just yet, tick the box Reference Other View and select the view (you can change view later), THEN draw the section.  Same for callouts, elevations.
