Section along a curve?

Hello,

I am modeling a road for a Civil engineering project in Revit 2016 and we would like to have a 'curved section'. I have been checking different options, but creating a Void Extrusion seems to be the only approach to get some results.

Does anybody know if it is possible to create a section along the axis of my road (that includes some curves)?

Unfortunately Revit does not support this feature. It would be very nice though. Possibly an idea for a future release.

What did you model the road with? For certain types of objects, you can use Create Parts to split it along a curve, and hide some parts from your view.

Other applications have tools for profiles of roads, such as Civil 3d and Infraworks. Revit is more about the buildings, with a basic site.
