Scheduling New Model Groups with Room Data in Revit 2018

During the course of working on several high-rise apartment complexes, I like all of you have run in to the problem of scheduling model groups (kitchens, bathrooms, etc...) for production purposes. With revit 2018 I was super excited to find that I could schedule model groups! Sadly I can not schedule the room naming and numbering that automatically populates in revit. Does anyone know of a way around this? Simply want to be able to look at a schedule and see what model groups are in what room, without entering this data manually.

Thank you all.

While this was helpful it does not solve my problem. I am looking to basically add the parameters from the room types and make them associated with model groups placed in them.  I.E. if I have a room marked 1 with the name "Kitchen" and I then bring a cabinetry model group into the room bounding, is there a way that my model groups can have those same name and number parameters so that when I schedule the model groups I can also see what rooms they are in without having to open another view.

I am not sure why that link was unhelpful to you. It details precisely how to achieve what you're wanting. Model Groups are now included as a Project Parameter category in 2018. We now have the ability to create project parameters for Model Groups. Make them instance parameters and fill them in upon placement with any identifying information you want (e.g. the room number or name that the group is being placed in).

If that is your goal then scheduling model groups is not the right tool.  For example: Use Room schedule with Embedded casework schedule, or Casework schedule and bring in Room information.
