Scheduling Grand Totals in 2017

Hello,

I am having issues getting a grand total for volume and area in 2017.  

I know there have been some changes to this in this release but...the drop down for where I should be able to select "calculate totals" is grayed out. 

Have any ideas?

This is by design and not particular to Revit 2017. This happens in material take-offs. It has to do with that object would be counted multiple times.

Solution is to use multi-category schedules or use Material:Volume. You can read more HERE.
