schedule showing non-existent areas

I'm trying to make a template with schedules to calculate the areas.

I tried to check my template on a new project and there are some areas showing in the schedule which don't exist in the current model, but the first model which I was trying to build the template on.

Anyone knows how this can be fixed?

They exist you just don't see them. Highlight the rows and delete from the schedule.

Yes, that's a way. But is it possible to expect the schedule template to adjust itself according to the new model and its actual areas? Because I want to use this schedule template for many projects and I want to minimize manual changes as much as possible

Yes. When you add new applicable areas in the project they will show up in the schedule.

From what I understand, you are trying to create a pre-defined list of Areas in the project template and pre-set schedule. If this is the case:

  1. Do not delete the data rows from the schedule. On the contrary keep them but add a note to users that All eras exist in the project and while placing they should make sure to pick one from the drop down menu in lieu of placing a new one and renaming
  2. Then Filter schedule by Area - Condition: Has Value

This way the Not Placed areas will be hidden and the schedule will populate only the Areas are placed from the list
