Schedule: Include elements in link

Hi all,

I have to create a Door schedule including the one in linked model. (The linked model has two phases, P1 and P2)

I Want to schedule only doors in P2. I have tried Phase Filter in Master Model but filtering occurs not in linked elements.

Any Idea?

Make sure the linked model has Phase Mapping set up correctly.  This is done in the type properties of the linked model

Also, Schedules have Phase and Phase Filters.

That and make sure the "Include Elements in Links" is checked on the Fields tab of the schedule properties

Hi,

I have tried what you said. Not working.

PS Your "Creating Intelligent Details in Revit" Class for AU changed totally my detailing workflow.Thanks.

Sorry forgot to mention the phase filter must match exactly from the linked file and the host file. If the names are different then it doesn't work.

Glad the detailing session helped in your workflows.  Comments like that make it even better to know the time and effort spent in setting those sessions up benefit people.

Hi. As you can see from the attached video the phases names match perfectly (P1>P1,P2>P2).

I do not know what I am doign wrong.

Looks like your Schedule Phase Filter is set to "None".  Is that right?

I have overcomed the issue in this way

1.I have created a DYN script to copy as string phase created in custom shared parameter in both linked and MM.

2.I filter the scehdule using the custom shared parameter.

I am trying to address this issue too. I don't think I am able to solve this by changing the phase in the linked model because it is linked from a consultant.

Revit is amazing

Hi,

You should open consultant model and apply your shared parameter. You can create a script to copy phase into your shared parameter.

In this way you will be able to sort the things out.
