Same section name for different plans

Hi, if I have a section (A-A) on building A and another section (A-A, same location) on building B, it would appear that I have to change view name (not title on sheet) to something different in order to show them both on the plans. This creates a problem because section A-A indicates the same location for both buildings. Is there a workaround for this issue?asdfad.png

Thanks!

Not good drafting either. Different sections with the same name could lead to confusion.

I suggest working the building designation into the section name.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Unfortunately my hands are tied on this part of Europe.

I'm not familiar with that. Standards shouldn't interfere with good drafting practices, IMVHO.

Time for a workaround or a different approach to the project.

If both sections show the same detail then you can use ref. section. this will have the same name but also leads to the same section.

Rename one, right click on the number and insert an Unicode character.
