rotated workplane in assembly??? How to fix?

Hello all,

When I want to alter a specific assembly I get a rotated workplane (or something)... ?

The assembly origin is where it should be and it is not rotated or anything.

Does anyone know what this is and how to fix it? It does not appear in all of my assemblies.....

It's kind of hard to tell from a screen shot, not enough context. Can you select it to identify what it is?

Does it prevent you from doing your edits?

Why do you need to fix it?

When I want to alter the assembly (add a window or door) I need to put in or change additional wooden framing bits.

For the additional horizontal framing I copy the bottom wooden frame and adjust it where I want it to be.

When I select the wooden frame and try to copy/move it it doesn't do that on the horizontal plane but on the plan as shown on the picture.

I have no clue what this plane is and/or how to correct it....

Therefor I come to you guys for help...
