Hello,
I have been using legends to bring in AutoCAD based details to insert onto a paper space page in Revit. I noticed that when I PDF'd using high quality, the legend quality was marginal. I changed PDF quality to presentation and it helped a bit, but it is still lower quality than the Revit line work.
We are a structural firm and are using ACAD for details and Revit for everything else. Trying to then bring ACAD details into Revit once so we can PDF the entire set directly from Revit vs. PDF'ing from both programs and merging the PDF files.

thanks for any help you can offer
What format are the details in? It sounds like they might be PDF or images if their quality can be changed with the print settings.
The legends view type does not have any unique print quality limitations so this is likely an issue with the imported details.
As a general rule, you should try to avoid importing AutoCAD files into Revit. Linking is fine, but importing can create issues. If you need to create standard details, it would be best to import the details into a new detail item family and create a Revit family based on the detail. This detail can then be placed on any view. You can also add parameters to the detail if you want.
