roombook areabook extension for revit 2016

Hello,

the new version is now out for several weeks and until now, 7/7/2015, there ist still no update for the roombook extension.

As mentioned in another post, we can not use the 2016 version in germany, because the areas of the rooms are calculated the wrong way.

In my eyes that is a shame for autodesk!

Come on, please release the update!

About Roombook addin for Revit 2016, as Klaus said in this forum thread (Roombook for Revit 2016) we're working on them, and they'll be released as soon as possible.

Regarding the issue with the area's calculation. Could you please send us a screencast video with the behavior seen, and the steps you're going through?

Is this happening with a specifc file?

thanks for your answer.

i added an image of a floor-plan in revit.

in germany the area in front of windows, which reach til the floor,

have to be added to the room-area, if they are deeper than 14 cm.

revit does not calculate these areas automatically.

to correct this error we need the roombook-extension.

hi,

i have to answer in german as follows:

Ich denke, Sie verstehen unser Anliegen nicht.

Wir wollen, dass Revit die Flächen richtig berechnet.

Bei bodentiefen Fenstern, also Fenstern ohne Brüstung, muss in Deutschland
die Fläche der Fensternischen mitgerechnet werden, wenn die Tiefe dieser Nischen größer als 14 cm ist.

In Revit kann ich dies ohne die Roombook-Extension nur lösen, indem ich Raumtrennungslinien zeichne
und die Wand nicht mehr als Raumbegrenzung darstelle.

Dies sollte aber standardmäßig in Revit integriert werden, oder die Roombook Extension
sollte sofort verfügbar sein, wenn jeweils eine neue Revit-Version verfügbar ist.

Wir können die Revit 2016-Version aus den oben genannten Gründen nicht verwenden, bis
die Extension verfügbar ist!
