Room Tags

Hello,

How do you tag rooms in a linked model (apartment unit) to get the gross floor area of the of that unit in the host model? In the actual apartment unit model the rooms are tagged, but in the building host model we just want the Gross Floor Area.

Make Link "Room Bounding" and create Room in Parent Project.

Create a room tag with just the Area label and tag the linked rooms in your host view normally.

Maybe I misunderstood. Are you saying the  Rooms exist and are tagged in the Linked Model?  If so, set the Link to BY LINKED VIEW and pick the Link View Name that has that info.
