Hi,

How can I create a room schedule with color key as shown in the pic ?

Capture an image of the color and insert the image into the Image Parameter Field of the Schedule.

Conditional formatting of those blank cells is an alternative, but not a two click solution you're looking for unfortunately. Also look at changing the size and orientation of the color scheme legend and place it "next" to the schedule.

If you only have two colors then Conditional Format works.  More than two then you need to capture images and use the Image field.

Any idea how did he calculate the percentage  for each room ?

Add a calculated value parameter and choose percentage instead of formula.

Huh?  In order to write the forumla, you would need to divide the Room Area by the Gross Area.  I suspect the creator inputted the gross area as a number into the "Percentage" Calculated Parameter formula (e.g. =Area/24).

Me too stuck at this point. it seems to me that he manually put the total area in the calculated parameter formula as you said.

No he did not manually input anything. Use the Percentage option in the calculated value parameter, do not use any formula.
