Pardon me if this has been discussed but I need a some help.
In order to help with comcheck/energy code light fixture counting, I am trying to create a schedule in Revit to do just that.
Attached is what I got from another board to try to modify (but uses spaces instead of rooms).
What I am trying to see is a schedule organized per room name, under each name the type and quantity of lights in that room.
I am in an electrical model with an architect model linked into it.
1. create a lighting schedule with rooms as a field, include rvt links is checked. It shows my types, but the architect's room names are blank.
2. If I pull up the architect model and create a room schedule with an embedded light schedule. It has the room names but the light types are blank.
It seems like it needs the electric model's lights but the architectural linked model's rooms.
The light families have 'room calculation point' checked already.
Ideas? modifications? is it do-able? dynamo? a plug-in?
Using Windows 10, Revit 2017.2
