I am trying to model a roof with a raised heel truss. The heel height is 11.25" so I set the "Base Offset From Level" to 11.25". However, this results in the roof sitting too high. This is because Revit calculates the offset from the level to the bottom of the roof assembly (the green line below). I need the offset to be from the level to the TOP of the CORE of the roof assembly (the combined length of the green and red lines in the drawing below). Is there any way to do this? I know I can mathematically figure out the length of the red line and subtract it from 11.25" to get the offset number. But for ease, and when the heel height is known, I would rather just be able to enter the known heel height and proceed with the modeling.
