Roof sketch with obtuse angles generates strange rooflines

Below are two roofs - rather, the dashed one is a roof. The green one is the same boundary as the dashed, but has the rooflines I am attempting to recreate, as shown on older plans from a third party.

The green lines are the sketch footprint used, with all lines defining a slope - save for the three gables shown. I want to know why this sketch is resulting in the dashed roof, instead of resembling the roof in green.

There are two points it differs, and in both instances, the rooflines appear to separate, maybe to prevent such small changes in direction seen on the green roof. Is there a setting I can disable to prevent this bridge from generating? Is there a priority I can assign to sketched lines, to feature one slope over another?

The defined slopes are all 22.5°, though I feel this shouldn't matter here.

I can readily tell from the sketch boundary that a 22.5 can't possibly work all around.  Look at the roof in elevation view and you'll see what's happening.

Edit the roof remove all the slopes and close out.  Then use Modify Sub-Elements tools (Split Lines primarily) to shape-edit the flat Roof. It's going to require planning and placing intersecting Ref. Planes first though (Points will snap to intersection of x,y Ref. Plane). And you're going to need to find the exact Elevation of the 6 ridges before shape-editing.   It's going to be a bit of a challenge.   Good luck.

I think I have an easier way for you.

Do the gable end roofs as separates and then join them to the main roof.
